It's a myth that Texas is a flat dry desert. But Central Texas experienced a terrible drought this year and the lovely places in Texas with waterfalls and ferns are almost becoming a myth.

Melanie Lewis

I'm an Austin artist, studying and working there since 1998. My work has been described as imaginative, colorful and sometimes quirky, and combines both realistic and abstract elements. I work mainly with acrylics and inks but I have also worked with oil paint. I currently show my work at Austin Artspace Gallery, Austin, TX. Check out my website for more artwork.
