Your image gets printed onto one of our premium canvases and then stretched on a wooden frame of 1.5" x 1.5" stretcher bars (gallery wrap) or 5/8" x 5/8" stretcher bars (museum wrap). About Melanie Lewis
I'm an Austin artist, studying and working there since 1998. My work has been described as imaginative, colorful and sometimes quirky, and combines both realistic and abstract elements. I work mainly with acrylics and inks but I have also worked with oil paint. I currently show my work at Austin Artspace Gallery, Austin, TX. Check out my website for more artwork. Contact me if you have any questions about the art on this site. In August, 2018, my book entitled Faces of the Matriarchs An artistic Depiction of Women in Genesis was complete. Twelve paintings were created for the book. The ideas for the pictures were developed based on readings in the scripture, as well as commentary, interpretations and my own ideas. Prints...
